Not working or covered under Spouse's plan
If you are not working, it usually makes sense to sign up for Medicare right away to avoid penalties.
Working for a company with more than 20 Employees
If your company has more than 20 employees, and you do NOT contribute
to a HSA, you may want to enroll in Part A only.
Working for a company with less than 20 employees
If you work for a company with less than 20 employees, Medicare would be primary to your company’s group plan. It may be more cost effective to go onto a Medicare secondary insurance.
